Gwendolyn Rose gets anything she wants--her father, the king, makes sure of it--but when Gwen sets her eye on the broom of a witch she spies blazing through the sky one night, she gets far more than she bargained for: the broom's true owner has a gift of her own to bestow; one that leaves Gwen as stinky on the outside as she is on the inside.

Mortified and ashamed, Gwen heads for the refuge of the forest where she learns some tough lessons in self-reliance, humility and courage.
